Long Feather Earrings
Made In Kenya
Long Feather Earrings
This line of Long Feather Earrings combines the distinct patterns of sustainably sourced cockerel (rooster) and pheasant feathers with recycled brass. The designer buys rooster feathers from small chicken farms and sources ring-necked pheasant feathers from a cooperative that makes fly fishing lures. For ten years, she has had access to the very best feathers through John, a master fly fishing lure tyer – collecting the offcuts from his cooperative.
The designer and her apprentice create just four pairs a day.
