Avoid contact with water, oils, creams, perfumes, staining liquids and rough or abrasive materials. Avoid contact with fabrics in a contrasting color to the handbag as color transfer may occur. Saddle Bag

Now in its third generation, the granddaughter leads the charge at Africa’s premier exotic leather handbag manufacturer. Their handbags are worn by celebrities and royalty around the world. With their unparalleled quality, it is not surprising that they also produce handbags for international haute couture brands.

The family has led the way on eco-friendly practices, and helped to create South Africa’s governing body that sets industry standards for sustainability in exotic leather production.

Following rigid international standards, all of the exotic animals are farm-raised, never taken from the wild. Nothing goes to waste, whether used by the food industry or for other byproducts. Each hide is tracked and certified by CITES rigid sustainability and animal welfare standards

The family’s leather legacy spans several countries back to the 1960s when Queen Elizabeth was a customer of the grandfather’s leather workshop in Cairo, Egypt.

The company now employs more than ninety leather workers, many of whom have been there since they first opened in Cape Town almost fifty years ago. They make all items, including this Saddle Bag, by hand with unparalleled attention to detail.
