After studying fine arts and pastry making, the founder and creative director launched her jewelry brand on a mission to prove that design could make a significant contribution to the economy in South Africa. 

Her line utilizes locally produced, repurposed rope. Each style of earring is designed so that offcuts can be used for other pieces of jewelry. Each Disk Drop Earring is made by one artisan from start to finish. 

The workshop, located in Cape Town, pays above market wages and promotes skills training for growth within the company, 

Her jewelry is worn by celebrities worldwide.
